Thackrays was appointed by Bidwells to deliver a comprehensive refurbishment of Building 315 at Cambridge Science Park, transforming the existing building into a modern, efficient and high-quality workspace.
Working closely with Greenbuild Design and Jonathan Wright at Bidwells, Thackrays managed the project from strip-out and dilapidation works through to the complete refurbishment of the building, with a strong focus on improving both the appearance and performance of the property.
The project incorporated significant upgrades to the building’s external facade, internal finishes, mechanical and electrical services and laboratory facilities. Sustainability was also a key consideration, with roof insulation installed to improve the building’s EPC rating, alongside new cycle shelters designed to encourage greener travel for occupiers.

The Result
